Companies spend a lot of money on consultancy firms that do the thinking for them. A lot of it has something to do with how to further promote the company and its services. It’s all about getting that company logo everywhere so as to serve as a constant reminder to the public of their existence and the services and products they are promoting.

Your business may not be that big yet as to be able to contract a consultancy firm for your promotional needs, but with a little creativity, you can make your own simple giveaways too.

Here some inexpensive ideas for giveaways.

Book Marker

A book marker will always be useful and easy to make.

If you have a logo for a business or a tagline, you can set it on a 1 ½-inch by 6-inch frame on your Photoshop. And save it on a jpeg file.

What you can do next is open a new project on you Photoshop or Publisher and set the paper size to an A4 in a portrait orientation.

Simply drag the jpeg file of your bookmarker and see how many you can fit in an A4. You should be able to fit in at least five bookmarkers.

Print it up at any CVS Photo shop, cut it and have the book markers laminated. Then, don’t forget to punch a hole at the top and tie a piece of colorful string to really make it look like a book marker.

FansFan - PhotoPrintPrices.com

For the hot summer months, you may want to give away fans.

Fans don’t really have to be Spanish fans that are shaped like triangles. They can also be square.

You can adapt the size of an A4 paper so you don’t have to do anymore cutting. Cutting an A4 in half will make two fans that are too small to do anything anyway.

It would be nice to have the picture of your products on the fan plus your company name in bold letters. You can do whatever layout you like using Photoshop. Merge pictures and apply different effects. There are no right or wrong ways of presenting your products so you can have fun with your Photoshop in coming up with the best promo design. Remember to make a design for both sides of the A4 paper.

When you are done just take your files to FedEx/Kinkos Photo Shop and tell them you want back-to-back printing. Have the fans laminated and you can give them away

Stickers

Company stickers with your logo and slogan will also be very effective giveaways especially if you have a cool logo and slogan. Kids can easily post those stickers on their notebook covers and bags. That will provide for mobile advertisement for your company.

You can go to Office Depot Photo shop and have your designs printed on sticker paper.

Kids may even post them on street lamps and building walls. That will provide you with free public advertisement, at least up until the city cleaners come over and remove them with much disgust.

Give a little and take a little. That has been the best way of doing business for years. Promotional giveaways will certainly work wonders on your company’s presence.
